Job summary

Swan is seeking a QA Engineer to own quality for two product squads (KYC/Onboarding and Capital Deposit). You will work with Product Managers and engineers to define tests, reduce automated debt and leverage AI to speed up testing.

You will join a close-knit QA team of 4 engineers and a Platform Engineer, embedded in an engineering organization of 200+ people, using a shared automation framework and GraphQL APIs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA experience in agile product teams.
• Comfortable testing APIs (GraphQL/REST) and web interfaces.
• Hands-on test automation experience with Playwright and/or Cucumber/Gherkin.

Responsibilities

• Get up to speed on onboarding and capital deposit flows and take over QA activities for both squads.
• Analyze specifications and user stories with Product Managers and engineers, raising ambiguities, missing rules and risks early.
• Design risk-based test strategies and functional test cases (ISTQB techniques).
• Execute functional, exploratory and regression testing (UI and API) and validate releases.
• Automate E2E scenarios with Cucumber (Gherkin) and Playwright (TypeScript).
• Maintain the test repository (Qase) and the requirements repository for traceability.
• Report bugs clearly and participate in root-cause analyses and post-mortems.
