Job summary

Swan, a leading European fintech in embedded banking, is hiring a QA engineer to own quality for two product squads: KYC/Onboarding and Capital Deposit. You will join a small, experienced QA team and collaborate with engineers, product managers and AI tools to ship reliable features.

You will design risk-based tests, automate end-to-end scenarios with Cucumber and Playwright, maintain test repositories, and help reduce automation debt while applying AI to speed up testing.

Qualifications

• Experience performing QA across two product squads with clear ownership.
• Ability to design risk-based test strategies and document coverage.
• Strong automation skills using modern tools and languages.

Responsibilities

• Own QA for KYC/Onboarding and Capital Deposit squads throughout the contract.
• Analyze specifications and user stories; raise ambiguities and risks early.
• Design risk-based test strategies and functional cases using ISTQB techniques.
• Execute functional, exploratory, and regression tests (UI and API).
• Automate E2E scenarios with Cucumber and Playwright; maintain test suites.
• Maintain the test repository (Qase) and the requirements repository.
• Report bugs clearly and drive resolution and root-cause analyses.
• Prioritize work across two squads and keep teams informed on status.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude) to speed up test analysis, design and automation.
