Adyen is seeking a Project Operations Manager to drive complex, global in-store project rollouts with customers and partners. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure successful deployments of Adyen’s payment solutions across platforms.

The role requires a strong operational mindset, 4+ years of experience in technical, multi-stakeholder projects, and fluency in French and English. Paris office-based, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience setting up complex, multi-stakeholder projects, preferably with a technical background.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to lead high-level conversations.
• Excellent project management skills in fast-paced environments.
• Global mindset with experience working across cultures or abroad is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Project Operations Manager

Our Project Operations Managers are primarily focused on the execution and delivery of complex, global in-store projects for the benefit of our customers. You will work closely with our merchants to ensure a successful rollout of their in-store payment systems.

The team also manages projects to support customers going live with our Adyen for Platforms solution, allowing our merchants to process both online and in-store payments for their customers at scale. Lastly, the team helps manage complex banking projects where customers utilize our banking platform to roll out a variety of products, such as card issuing and other financial services.

As an expert driving complex technical and operational rollouts, you will interact and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create a seamless deployment experience for customers looking to go live on our platform. You will do this by leveraging your experience in systems integration and your superb project management skills. This is a varied and hands‑on role in which your tasks range from discussing a project’ s strategic direction to verifying correct configurations.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the project lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring that our customers are fully prepared to roll out Adyen’s solution;
• Work closely with customers’ project and technical teams, as well as third parties such as technical integration partners, to ensure a smooth rollout;
• Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management and communication of progress to all parties;
• Provide guidance on Adyen’s product and advise on the solutions that best fit our customers’ business needs;
• Ensure successful project handovers once the rollout is complete by setting up scalable "business as usual" (BAU) and support processes;
• Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives to help our business scale.

Who You Are

• Experience- 4+ years of experience setting up complex (ideally technical) projects with multiple stakeholders. Experience in the payments industry or a technical background is a plus;
• Stakeholder Management- Proven customer-facing experience with the ability to lead high-level conversations and influence business decisions;
• Project Management- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead detailed, time-sensitive initiatives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
• Global Mindset- Ability to interface and cooperate seamlessly with a global team, adapting to international time constraints where appropriate. Experience working abroad and/or within multicultural teams is a plus;
• Languages- Required fluency/business proficiency in both French and English. Any additional European language is considered a plus;
• Mobility- Must be willing to travel, both domestically and internationally, as required.
