Checkout.com is seeking a Mid-level Project Manager for our Integrations team, focused on expanding our merchant network and payments ecosystem. You will lead a 10+ engineer group, coordinate with merchants and providers, and own project delivery across Europe.

You should have 5+ years in payments, strong web-technology knowledge, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes. A hybrid work model is offered to enable collaborative, cross-functional work across global

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payments experience.
• Strong knowledge of web tech (HTTP, TLS, proxies, API conventions).
• Technical background and ability to read software code.
• Able to communicate with third-party providers from both technical and business perspectives.
• Product-minded and keen to understand business drivers.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with engineers, merchants and payment providers to connect ProcessOut to global acquirers and payment methods.
• Compute KPIs and continuously improve processes to boost performance.
• Own the product vision, helping design, build, and release new features.

Project Management at ProcessOut

As a Mid-level Project Manager Within Our Integrations Team, You Will Sit At The Heart Of Our Merchants Expansion. The Team Is Dedicated To

• Architecting payments framework that guarantee high velocity and uncompromising quality for new payment providers on-boarding.
• Integrating with a global network of payment providers.

In This High-impact Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Own the planification of a team of 10+ engineers, which will involve collecting the needs from merchants
• Orchestrating complex merchant timelines and delivery projects, championing excellence at every stage.
• Cultivating and maintaining strategic partnerships with global payment providers (we have more than 100, but only few are strategical)

We operate as a self-sufficient, fully agile unit. To thrive here, you should:

• Possess a deep understanding of both payment ecosystems and engineering principles.
• You’ll collaborate with Europe's leading merchants, work alongside world-class engineers and discuss with banks from all around the world
• Masterfully navigate complex trade-offs and rapid context switching in a dynamic environment.
• Drive external communication and engage directly, with often physical visits, with partners across Europe.
• Being able to challenge other remits (engineering, product, merchants, providers) with data driven decisions

About You

• At least 5 years of experience in payments
• Know your way around web-related tech (HTTP, TLS, proxies, API conventions...)
• Have a technical background and is able to understand software code
• Able to communicate with third-party providers from both a technical perspective and business
• Be product minded
• Always curious and passionate about understanding the business

Nice to have

• French language
• Cards payments knowledge

• Working with engineers, merchants and payments providers to connect ProcessOut to worldwide acquirers and payment methods
• Contributing to the business by computing KPIs and improving our processes in order to improve them
• Own the product vision to help on designing, building, and releasing new features
