Netcompany is seeking a Production Support Engineer to ensure stability and performance of production systems across environments. You will provide L2 incident resolution, monitor health, and support deployments while maintaining runbooks and documentation.

Candidates should have 3+ years in IT operations, Linux/Unix, and ITIL knowledge, with strong English communication. Onsite/hybrid work in Strasbourg is requested, with significant on-call duties and standby pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations, supporting mission-critical applications like banking or telecommunications, or systems support, including at least 2 years in an L2 support role.
• Strong understanding of ITIL service management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Knowledge Management.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments, container platforms, and monitoring/observability tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and automation practices.
• Experience supporting APIs, middleware, integration platforms, identity and access management solutions, or web technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English, French is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Linux Administration, Kubernetes, or equivalent are advantageous.

• Support middleware and integration platforms, including APIs, messaging systems, identity management solutions, web infrastructure, and content management platforms.

So, what are the main responsibilities of anProduction Support Engineerin Netcompany?

Work Arrangement: Onsite/Hybrid in Strasbourg only. Around 40% on-call services are expected.Standby Allowance and Intervention Pay are provided.
