Job summary

Outsight in Paris is seeking a Production Operations / Site Reliability Engineer to maintain live deployments, triage incidents, and coordinate with L2/L3 teams. You will validate deployments, runbooks, and on-call incident reports.

You will work in a hybrid SaaS environment, use Linux, Bash, Python, and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus, and participate in night/weekend rotations to ensure uptime for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting live production software environments in technical support, deployment, or SRE.
• Strong Linux/Unix command-line and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with hybrid infrastructures (on-premise + cloud) and network basics (DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Proven ability to communicate incident timelines and statuses to stakeholders during outages.
• Professional English; French is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in scheduled night and weekend on-call rotations.
• Nice-to-have: Bash, Python, SQL, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus; IoT/edge computing or computer vision background.

Responsibilities

• Operational Handover: ensure new deployments meet standards before ownership transfer.
• Technical Triaging: reproduce defects in test env and escalate unresolved issues.
• Production Operations: perform configuration changes, health checks, and remote updates.
• Documentation: write runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
• Root Cause Analysis: reconstruct incident timelines and submit bug reports.
