Job summary

Netcompany is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to lead major incidents and complex production issues, while shaping monitoring, observability, and operational support across EU projects. You will drive proactive maintenance and capacity planning, validate deployments with DevSecOps and Architecture teams, and mentor colleagues to achieve operational excellence.

The role requires deep ITIL discipline, Linux and containerized/cloud-native environments, and strong communication in English;

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise IT operations, incl. 3+ years in senior role
• Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Event, Capacity)

Responsibilities

• Lead resolution of major incidents and complex production issues
• Conduct root cause analyses and post-incident reviews
• Define and improve monitoring, observability, and operational support strategies
• Drive proactive maintenance, capacity planning, and performance improvements
• Validate deployment, testing, and rollback strategies with DevSecOps, Architecture, and DBA teams
• Prepare operational reports, trend analyses, and service improvement recommendations
• Lead automation and operational efficiency initiatives through scripting and tooling
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to support teams
