Lever, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner (Recommendation Systems) based in France to own the post-purchase customer journey, focusing on activation, matching, relevance and fast value realization for paying customers.

You will work across discovery, segmentation, personalization, and experimentation to turn hypotheses into measurable improvements. You will collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, and data/ML teams to prioritize and launch product improvements, running experiments and

Qualifications

• Hands-on B2C product experience in activation, onboarding or first-session experiences.
• Experience with discovery-driven products with large volumes of offers/listings or matches.
• Understanding of search, feed relevance and recommendation systems.
• Experience with segmentation and personalization to enrich offers/listings.
• Experience in marketplaces or discovery-driven products (e-commerce, real estate, etc).
• Ability to formulate hypotheses, define requirements and measurable success criteria.
• Proven delivery of product from idea through launch and evaluation.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and experiments.
• Ability to blend qualitative and quantitative customer research.

Responsabilités

• Own the post-purchase customer journey focusing on activation, matching, relevance and value speed.
• Optimize offer volume and recommendation quality for relevant selections without overwhelming users.
• Improve relevance and trustworthiness of recommendations and invitations to paying customers.
• Increase the likelihood of a quality match for new customers in their first week.
• Design engagement mechanics such as gamification and nudges.
• Analyze matching across segments and apply segmentation to improve outcomes.
• Identify bottlenecks and growth opportunities via data and research.
• Translate opportunities into testable hypotheses with defined metrics.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts and data/ML teams to deliver improvements.
• Manage requirements, priorities and delivery timelines for predictable execution.
• Run A/B tests and iterate based on results.
