Lever, Inc. is seeking a highly autonomous Data & Insights professional in France to connect product, business, and engineering.

You will translate complex questions into rigorous analysis, influence product priorities and experiments, and shape data foundations, pipelines, and tooling across teams. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Growth, Marketing, and leadership while helping teams become more self-sufficient with data.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics, insights, data engineering, or product analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data modeling and modern tooling.
• Ability to work across analytical problems and data foundations, including models and pipelines.
• Product-oriented mindset with curiosity about user behavior and product impact.
• Ownership and judgment to tackle ambiguous problems.
• Ability to decide when to move fast, investigate deeply, or simplify.
• Strong analytical thinking to turn data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with product, engineering, growth, marketing, and leadership.
• Confident in challenging assumptions and communicating findings clearly.
• Bias toward measurable impact and outcomes, not just delivery.
• Familiarity with AI-powered data tools and internal data agents is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Product and Engineering to identify opportunities, define metrics, run experiments.
• Translate ambiguous questions into rigorous analysis and measurable improvements.
• Collaborate with Head of Data on data architecture, foundations, tooling, and evolution.
• Develop and improve data models, pipelines, instrumentation, and analytics workflows.
• Evaluate build vs buy vs simple approaches for data challenges.
• Help advance the internal data agent for broader usefulness.
• Enable teams to become autonomous in accessing and applying data.
• Identify opportunities to improve data reliability, accessibility, and usability.
• Balance technical depth with practical business judgment and impact.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data practices and tooling.
