Corning is seeking a Development Engineer – Process Industrialization at the Fontainebleau site (France). You will work within the Process Engineering team of the Process Research, Development & Engineering organization, collaborating closely with the Bagneaux-sur-Loing plant to industrialize new processes and equipment.

The role requires at least 3 years in industrial R&D, preferably with manufacturing experience, and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge and hands-on approach to practical implementation.
Familiarity with problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong interest in technical challenges.

Leadership skills and ability to lead within a cross-functional setup.

Responsabilités

Collaborate with the manufacturing plant to provide industrialization support to plant engineering teams.
Serve as the key interface between the manufacturing plant and the Corning Technology Center.
Conduct studies to support evolution of equipment and processes and evaluate production readiness.
Lead and contribute to solving technical issues affecting process industrialization.
Define criteria for transferring developed equipment and processes to production.
Coordinate with RD&E divisions to align industrialization efforts.
