Corning is seeking a Development Engineer – Process Industrialization at the Fontainebleau site (France). You will work within the Process Engineering team of the Process Research, Development & Engineering organization, collaborating closely with the Bagneaux-sur-Loing plant to industrialize new processes and equipment.

The role requires at least 3 years in industrial R&D, preferably with manufacturing experience, and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the manufacturing plant to provide industrialization support to plant engineering teams.
• Serve as the key interface between the manufacturing plant and the Corning Technology Center.
• Conduct studies to support evolution of equipment and processes and evaluate production readiness.
• Lead and contribute to solving technical issues affecting process industrialization.
• Define criteria for transferring developed equipment and processes to production.
• Coordinate with RD&E divisions to align industrialization efforts.

Within the Process Engineering team of the Process Research, Development & Engineering organization at our Fontainebleau site, and in close collaboration with the Engineering Department of Corning’s Bagneaux-sur-Loing plant, we are looking for a Development Engineer – Process Industrialization,

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission will be carried out jointly with the manufacturing plant to provide industrialization support to the plant engineering teams

• Developing an in-depth understanding of processes currently under development.
• Acting as the key interface between the manufacturing plant and the Technology Center.
• Conducting studies and analyses to support the evolution of equipment and processes, as well as evaluating process suitability for opportunities identified for the plant.
• Leading and contributing to the resolution of technical issues.
• Defining the criteria for transferring equipment and processes under development into production.
• Liaising with the Group’s RD&E (Research, Development & Engineering) divisions,

PROFILE

We are looking for high-potential candidates, preferably graduates of leading engineering schools, with at least 3 years of experience in industrial R&D. Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset.
