Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Process Control Engineer (Systems) to design, deploy and sustain PCS across assembly and test manufacturing. You will lead SPC strategy, FDC development, and MES/RMS interfaces while driving audit readiness and continuous improvement.

The role requires ownership of E3/FDC models, SPACE SPC, SECS/GEM connectivity, and data-driven decision making with strong collaboration across PE, EE, and Global Quality teams. AI-enabled enhancements are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• Knowledge of SPC concepts, capability indices, and OOC/OOS.
• Experience owning E3 models and SPACE SPC frameworks.
• FDC/OCAP experience in assembly/test or frontend facilities.
• Exposure to predictive analytics or smart manufacturing platforms.
• Strong scripting and data interpretation skills.
• Must be an effective communicator and collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Own PCS systems ownership including configuring E3 models and alarms.
• Build and maintain SPACE SPC charts, limits, and automated reactions.
• Maintain MES/MAM/RMS interfaces with data integrity.
• Govern OCAP logic and ECN changes.
• Support MES/MAM logic, data collection, and RMS recipe/version control.
• Automate tasks using SQL and Python; drive continuous improvement.
