Job summary

Micron Technology France is seeking a Contamination Control and ESD Engineer to uphold cleanroom and ESD standards, monitor AMC, particles, and trace metals, and support tool qualifications in a fast-paced fab.

You will lead investigations into Out Of Control (OOC) and Out Of Specification (OOS) events, implementing CAPAs to protect wafer yield. Collaborate with Operations, Process Integration, Equipment Engineering, and Facilities to strengthen quality and reliability across modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field relevant to semiconductor manufacturing.
• Hands-on ability to perform equipment setup and basic tool qualification in a semiconductor cleanroom with fab safety protocols.
• Uses structured, data-driven methods (SPC/DOE/FMEA/RCA) to evaluate issues and drive corrective actions.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for data visualization (Python, Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; growth mindset and continual learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus; leadership and impact desirable.
• Interest in Micron and semiconductor industry; ability to apply AI literacy responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cleanroom environmental parameters (AMC, particles, trace metals) to meet fabrication specs.
• Execute ESD qualification and certification for new FOAK equipment and materials.
• Lead investigations into contamination or environmental events; implement CAPAs.
• Develop and enforce contamination control and environmental monitoring protocols.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Process Integration, Equipment Engineering, and Facilities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ANSI/ESD S20.20; support audits.
• Apply AI analytics and RPA to automate data collection and improve detection.
• Integrate AI tools into daily work to improve efficiency and decision making.
