Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Process Control System (PCS) Engineer to start up, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for high-quality, reliable products. You will apply AI and data analytics to improve yield, cost, and process capability across semiconductor lines.

You will work with AI tools, take ownership of data analysis, and collaborate across functions to deliver continuous improvements and training on control systems. Travel may be required for global initiatives.

• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
• Fundamental understanding and knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing and related advanced process control.
• PhD, Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Statistics/ Mathematics/Physics.
• Familiar and knowledgeable in various sensors applications for Industrial IoT (IIOT) preferred.
• Passion for Programming and Data Analysis.
• Familiar with Machine Learning and Data Science Analytical knowledge and skills.
• Preferred familiar and hands on experience in Python/R/SQL/Hadoop ecosystem and/or in the development of web‑based applications.
• Excellent Project management skills.
• Ambitious and ability to multi‑task and balance dynamic priorities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and a good teammate.
• Ability to participate in a multi‑functional team environment.
• Willing and capable of international travel, as needed, to accomplish your objectives.

• Lead data analysis and modeling to identify sources of variation and translate into control solutions.
• Support KEG team with data collection requirements and system integration.
• Define and review OCAP and Best Known Material practices with PCS team.
• Develop and deliver training on control systems and related topics.
