Job summary

Thinkproject is seeking a Presales Expert Consultant (f/m/d) for our Paris office to drive opportunity discovery, articulate business value, and demonstrate how our platform addresses customer needs.

You will work across Thinkproject functions, defining use cases, building demos, and shaping the solution for both Enterprise and Invest Accounts, while collaborating with the Sales team in a hybrid Paris-based role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years proven experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Engineering, IT, Architecture or comparable.
• Communication skills.

• Business assessment expertise - follow the process with strategy and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer opportunities and pain points, define use cases and business value.
• Demonstrate why Thinkproject software is the right solution.
• Be an expert in Thinkproject functions and present solutions to Enterprise and Invest Accounts.
• Work on new or existing account opportunities, independently or as part of a team.
• Support Sales with technical expertise across the opportunity lifecycle.
• Follow PreSales process: discover pains, deliver value-based conversations with demos/presentations.
• Define product/solution scope for smooth handoff to implementation teams.
• Develop presales collateral: use cases, demo material, storyboards, video messages.
• Assess and respond to RFIs/RFPs technically.
• Detect new business opportunities within existing customers.
• Provide feedback to product and development teams.

What your day will look like

We are looking for a Presales Consultant to join us in our Paris office.

You will identify customer opportunities and pain points, define compelling use cases and business value, then convincingly demonstrate why Thinkproject software is the right solution to address them.

Be an expert in multiple Thinkproject business functions (e.g. CDE, Contracts, etc.) with strong ability to configure and present the solution in a customer‑centric way (both Enterprise and Invest Accounts).

Main responsibilities:

• Work on new or existing account opportunities either independently with a transactional product sell or as part of a team with a solution sell.
• Help Sales achieve their goals for new revenue by offering technical expertise in all phases of the opportunity lifecycle.
• Work according to the PreSales process: discover business pains on initial conversations, deliver value‑based conversations on client pitch calls using demos and presentations.
• Define product / solution scope to ensure an effective transition to implementation teams
• Develop presales knowledge base, by building and managing collaterals such as use cases, demo material, storyboards, video messages.
• Assess and respond to RFI’s/RFP’s from a technical point of view.
• Detect new business opportunities with our existing customers.
• Give structured feedback to the product and the development teams.
