Job summary

Anotech Energy is seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning Engineer to support the preparation, coordination and execution of offshore pre-commissioning activities for major energy projects. You will work with engineering, construction, subcontractors and offshore teams to ensure systems are safely prepared for commissioning and start-up.

We require an engineering background with at least 5 years in Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning or offshore operations, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Offshore Construction or Pipeline Operations.
• Proven experience on offshore Oil & Gas or subsea projects.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

• Support engineering and procurement teams during project development and execution phases.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning activities with construction, commissioning and client representatives.

• Ensure safe execution of activities in compliance with project HSE requirements.

As part of major offshore energy projects, we are looking for an experienced Pre-Commissioning Engineer to support the preparation, coordination and execution of pre-commissioning activities during the final stages of project delivery.Working closely with engineering, construction, subcontractors and offshore execution teams, you will play a key role in ensuring systems are safely and efficiently prepared for commissioning and start-up. We are seeking autonomous, field-oriented professionals with strong technical expertise in offshore operations, pipeline systems and pre-commissioning methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review pre-commissioning deliverables, procedures and technical documentation.
• Support engineering and procurement teams during project development and execution phases.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning activities with construction, commissioning and client representatives.
• Supervise subcontractors performing offshore pre-commissioning operations.
• Participate in risk assessments, technical reviews and project planning activities.
• Monitor and coordinate offshore execution campaigns.
• Ensure safe execution of activities in compliance with project HSE requirements.

Scope of Activities

• Pipeline cleaning, gauging and flooding.
• Hydrotesting and pressure testing.
• Pigging operations.
• Dewatering and drying.
• Ballasting and deballasting activities.
• Monitoring and testing of subsea cables, umbilicals and fiber optic systems.
• Mechanical completion and system handover preparation.
• Readiness reviews and pre-start-up verification.

Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Offshore Construction or Pipeline Operations.

Proven experience on offshore Oil & Gas or subsea projects.

Good understanding of pipeline and subsea installation activities.

Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.

Fluent English is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SURF, subsea pipelines or offshore facilities.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Completion and System Completion processes.
• Previous exposure to EPC/EPCI projects.
• Familiarity with offshore operational procedures and project execution methodologies.
• Experience working directly with end clients and vessel crews.

Certifications

CertificationsThe following certifications are highly desirable or may be required depending on project mobilization:

• CA-EBS
• Offshore Medical Certificate (OGUK or equivalent)
• Valid offshore safety certifications
