Socomec Sas seeks a Power Electronics Engineer to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of high‑power converters and related electronic systems. You will participate in the full product lifecycle within an international, multidisciplinary environment.

You will collaborate with teams in France, Italy, Canada and China to ensure robust engineering, deliverables, and continued technological advancement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent in electronics/electrical engineering.
• Initial successful experience—in internships or work-study—in power electronics or electronics development.
• Fluency in French and English at C1 level due to international nature of role.

Responsabilités

• Carry out development, analysis, or enhancement work on electrical systems under design leader guidance.
• Design PCBA integrated into power modules (>200 kW) for power conversion and control.
• Design and qualify electrical systems for thermal, electrical, EMC, robustness, and functional aspects.
• Contribute to coherent and sustainable electronic architectures and topologies.
