Job summary

Socomec Sas’s Development Department seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Mechanical Integration team. You will design cabinets and mechanical subassemblies to integrate power converters, using Creo CAD, with a focus on manufacturability, cooling and EMC.

You will perform sizing calculations and simulations, prepare test plans, analyze results, and support product evolution through the lifecycle, collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with 2+ years experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in Creo CAD and assembly design.
• French at least C1 and English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Design cabinets and mechanical subassemblies for easy and safe use.
• Integrate power converters using Creo CAD and define sheet metal structures.
• Consider manufacturability, wiring, cooling, EMC, maintenance and aesthetics.
