Job summary

CNRS, Institut de Biologie Intégrative de la Cellule (I2BC) in Gif-sur-Yvette, France, is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join the ERC Synergy project 3Stops2go. The role focuses on decoding readthrough mechanisms, tRNA optimisation, and high‑throughput data analyses (NGS, ribosome profiling).

You will contribute to experimental design, screens, and mechanistic interpretation, within a dynamic team at CNRS/CEA/Université Paris-Saclay.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
• Solid expertise in RNA biology and translation.
• Experience with cloning, human cell culture, flow cytometry and NGS data analysis.
• Experience with lentiviral vectors and functional screens would be a significant asset.
• Autonomy, rigour, initiative and ability to work collaboratively; strong command of scientific English.

Responsibilities

• Molecular biology approaches (cloning, expression, in vitro transcription and translation).
• Biochemical approaches (protein purification, luciferase assays).
• Human cell culture, handling of lentiviruses.
• Development of a lentivirus-based screen for tRNA optimisation.
• Presentation of the work at team meetings and to collaborators.
