Association Bernard Gregory seeks a Postdoctoral researcher for a project on epigenetic regulation, structural biology, and 3D X-ray imaging of morphotype switching in Candida albicans. The position is hosted by Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) in Grenoble and involves IBS and IAB teams, with international collaboration.

The role focuses on Bdf1 bromodomains, chromatin interactions, and development of a 3D imaging workflow, with a gross monthly salary of €2,900–€3,300 and a start around October

Qualifications

PhD in life sciences or closely related field.
Experience with fungal biology and epigenetic regulation is advantageous.
Strong background in structural biology and protein biochemistry.
Experience with fluorescence microscopy and transcriptomics is desired.
Ability to work across interdisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

Lead recombinant protein production and structural/biochemical characterization.
Study Bdf1-chromatin interactions in cells using fluorescence microscopy.
Perform RNA sequencing and data analysis on wild-type and mutant strains.
Develop high-resolution 3D X-ray imaging workflow for C. albicans.
Collaborate with IBS, IAB, EMBL and ESRF across interdisciplinary projects.
