Inserm France is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to lead subcellular transcriptomics in embryonic stem cells for Aim 1. You will perform TimeLapse-seq and isolate RNA fractions to quantify RNA synthesis, processing, export and decay, in control and TIP60-depleted cells.
You will coordinate sequencing QC, integrate results with Bayesian kinetic modelling and smFISH partners, and contribute to data management, consortium meetings, reports and manuscripts.
The postdoctoral researcher will lead subcellular transcriptomics in embryonic stem cells for Aim 1.
Main activities : Perform subcellular TimeLapse-seq in control and acutely TIP60-depleted mouse embryonic stem cells; isolate chromatin-associated, nuclear, cytoplasmic and polysome-bound RNA; quantify RNA synthesis, processing, export and decay.
Associate activities : Coordinate sequencing and quality control; integrate results with Bayesian kinetic modelling and smFISH partners; contribute to data management, consortium meetings, reports and manuscripts.
Specific Requirements or Constraints : Work with mouse embryonic stem cells, auxin-inducible coactivator depletion, RNA metabolic labelling and subcellular fractionation; follow IGBMC safety, ethics and data-management procedures.
Skills/Qualifications : Strong RNA and molecular biology skills; mammalian or stem-cell culture; subcellular fractionation; transcriptomics/NGS; quantitative data analysis; experimental autonomy; scientific writing and teamwork.
English : fluent scientific working proficiency.
