The Carlyle Group is seeking an accomplished technology operating executive to work across a portfolio of European B2B SaaS and technology businesses. You will act as a trusted advisor to management teams and deal teams, shaping technology value-creation plans from due diligence through hold period to exit.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of senior technology leadership in B2B SaaS or tech private equity contexts.
• Track record delivering value across portfolio companies or operating-partner settings.
• Deep expertise in modern SaaS architecture, cloud, data platforms, and AI in software lifecycle.
• Proven ability to deliver through partners and lean teams in a leveraged operating model.
• Comfort operating across multiple companies, geographies and European cultures.

Responsabilités

• Value creation: drive technology agendas across portfolio companies—architecture, scalability, debt, cloud, security, data and AI enablement.
• Diligence & assessment: support technical diligence on investments and translate findings into plans.
• Partner network: build and manage a network of technology partners and vendors to execute topics without large internal headcount.
• Leadership & talent: coach CTOs and engineers; help recruit and upgrade technology leadership where needed.
• Standards & sharing: establish reusable playbooks and best practices; share across portfolio.
• Exit readiness: position tech assets for exit with clear equity story and scalability signals.
