Job summary

The Carlyle Group seeks an accomplished technology executive to spearhead value-creation across a portfolio of European B2B SaaS and technology companies. You will partner with management teams and deal teams to define architecture, cloud strategies, and scalable platforms that drive exit readiness and investor value.

You will coach portfolio CTOs and senior engineering leaders, build trusted partner networks, and share reusable playbooks and benchmarks across the platform.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior technology leadership experience (CTO/VP Eng or equivalent).
• Experience scaling B2B SaaS at mid-market levels.
• Private-equity/portfolio experience preferred.
• Deep expertise in modern SaaS architecture, cloud, data platforms, AI in SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technology value-creation agendas across portfolio companies.
• Support technical diligence on new investments and translate findings into actionable plans.
• Build and manage a network of technology partners to deliver execution.
• Coach CTOs and engineering leaders across portfolio companies.
