Job summary

HyLight is seeking a Software / Cloud / Data Engineer to own large parts of the data platform, from cloud processing to the customer interface. You will ensure robustness, speed, scalability and cost-efficiency, deciding where and how it runs, and collaborating with data, embedded and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Backend, cloud or data engineering experience with production systems.
• Familiarity with cost and performance as constraints.
• English required; French a plus.
• Track record of running systems in production and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own large parts of the data platform from processing in the cloud to the customer interface.
• Make the platform robust, fast, scalable and cheap.
• Decide how and where it runs, including potential in-house compute.
• Collaborate with data, embedded and operations teams to deliver value.
