Customer & Solutions Paris, France Full-time
A software, cloud and data engineer for a client insights platform typically builds and runs cloud services, data pipelines and dashboards that turn raw operational data into something clients can act on. A strong candidate brings solid coding in one or two languages, comfort with cloud infrastructure and data storage, and care for reliable, well tested systems. At an airship company doing aerial inspection of energy and transport grids, that means handling data flowing from flights and sensors and presenting it clearly to the clients who rely on it.
AI shifts this kind of work toward building pipelines that feed models and serving model outputs back to users, so the engineer spends more time on data quality, monitoring and integration than on hand written reports. Judgement about what data is trustworthy, how to structure it and how to explain results to clients stays human. The role sits close to where AI meets real operations, which is a useful place to learn.
The AI experience here comes from working with inspection data such as images and sensor readings, learning how to prepare it, check it and connect it to models that flag faults on grids. Building that skill means getting hands on with data pipelines, cloud tooling and basic model deployment, and understanding the domain well enough to know when output is right. That mix of data engineering and applied AI is valuable well beyond this sector.
