CNRS MPQ in Paris invites applications for a First Stage Researcher (R1) to work on quantum materials and light–matter interactions. You will perform advanced analytical calculations based on quantum field theory and cutting-edge numerical simulations under Prof.

Cristiano Ciuti, contributing to publications and presenting results at international conferences. The project aims to study how cavity fields reshape phases of condensed matter and influence many-body dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in advanced theoretical methods including quantum field theory and numerical simulations.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsabilités

  • Carry out advanced analytical calculations based on quantum field theory.
  • Perform cutting-edge numerical simulations and contribute to scientific publications.
  • Present results at international conferences and collaborate with the MPQ theory team.
