SuperMicrobiologists is seeking a Bioprocess Technician to support day-to-day production activities focused on bacteriophage production, including shake flasks, bench-scale bioreactors, and purification steps.

You will sample for in-process controls, monitor parameters, and assist with documentation, inventory, and cleanroom duties while collaborating with R&D to optimize processes. The role requires hands-on attitude and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in biotech or bioproduction.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and microbial culture in 2D/3D.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain rigorous documentation.
• Team player with a proactive hands-on attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with shake flasks, bioreactors, and purification steps is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and operate shake flasks (Erlenmeyer cultures) and bench-scale bioreactors for production of bacteriophages.
• Purify bacteriophages (TFF, filtration steps, bottling).
• Sample for in-process controls or QC analysis.
• Monitor critical process parameters.
• Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement to optimize production processes.
• Prepare media, buffers, and other reagents for production.
• Clean and sterilize equipment (e.g., bioreactors).
• Support process optimization and scale-up with R&D / process development teams.
• Fill out batch records and production documentation with accuracy and traceability.
• Participate in daily operations management, including inventory tracking and ordering of consumables.
• Routine cleaning of cleanroom areas.
