Ankorstore is seeking a People Operations Partner to own payroll and HR administration, ensuring legal compliance and operational excellence. You will manage France payroll via Payfit and international payroll, while maintaining data integrity in Personio and supporting payroll audits and benefits administration.

The role requires strong communication, multi-country data handling, and collaboration with Finance and Legal teams. Fluency in French and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in People Operations with an HR education background.
• Proven experience with French payroll using Payfit (convention collective SYNTEC).
• Strong understanding of French labor law; international HR exposure is a plus.
• Ability to manage complex Excel files, audits, and multi-country data.
• Excellent written and spoken French; proficient English.

About The Role

As a People Operations Partner, you will be the backbone of our HR operations, primarily responsible for managing essential processes, with a strong focus on payroll and ensuring rigorous compliance across all administrative tasks. You will own the operational execution that keeps the company running smoothly, ensuring precision, reliability, and legal adherence in every action. Secondarily, you will serve as the key point of contact for our employees and managers. This role requires a unique blend of operational excellence and high-touch service: while you will be hands-on in managing day-to-day inquiries and workflows, you will also be a catalyst for improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize existing processes and improve the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Management : Oversee end-to-end payroll for France and International. You will manage French Payroll on Payfit and International payroll with Payroll providers. You will guarantee the quality of the payroll thanks to regular audit, rigor, and a good relationship with our payroll provider.
• HR Administration : Manage the full administrative employee lifecycle (from onboarding to offboarding), including drafting contracts, amendments, and handling international visas. You will act as an advisor on employment law applications and manage mandatory tasks (occupational health requirements, surveys).
• Transversal Projects : Contribution to impactful initiatives such as company agreements, organizational changes, and drive continuous automation of HR processes.
• Compensation & Benefits : Support the Head of People during salary review campaigns, providing data analysis and ensuring legal compliance. Manage employee benefits (health insurance and others) for France and International employees.
• HRIS & Data Quality : Act as the administrator for our HRIS (Personio), ensuring data integrity across all platforms and managing relationships with software providers.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: minimum 5 years of experience in People Operations with an HR education background.
• Technical Payroll Expertise: Proven experience in French payroll (convention collective SYNTEC), specifically using Payfit.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of French labor law and compliance. An additional experience on international HR (Spain, Germany) is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to manage complex Excel files, perform audits, and centralize multi-country data.
• Communication: Excellent pedagogical and communication skills to support employees, managers, and collaborate with Finance and Legal teams.
• Languages: Fluent in French. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
