  • Act as the main point of contact for France payroll-related employee inquiries, including questions related to pay, deductions, tax withholding, benefits, reimbursements, leave, and payroll timing.
  • Act as liaison with French payroll vendor(s), local HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, and local government agencies, where applicable.
  • Support Corporate Headquarters (based in US) with research on French/EU payroll laws, local payroll custom, statutory reporting, social charges, hiring formalities, and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Maintain payroll procedures, checklists, audit support, payroll controls, review signoffs, change reports, exception reports, and statutory filing confirmations.
  • Proactively and consistently identify and drive opportunities for improvement in payroll accuracy, controls, employee experience, vendor performance, and integration with HR, benefits, time, and finance systems.

  • Show flexibility and adaptability in a quickly growing and changing environment.
  • Comfortable in a flexible working environment. Partnerships with the payroll team and other business partners based in US often require work/communication across time zones.
