Swan, Europe’s embedded banking specialist, seeks a Payment Operations Efficiency & AI Automation expert to lead discovery, design AI agents, and scale automation across banking transaction processes. You will partner with internal teams and financial partners to drive efficiency, implement responsible AI with human-in-the-loop, and define KPIs to measure impact.

The role emphasizes scaling automation while managing risk, with a focus on payment flows, reconciliation, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience driving operational excellence, process redesign, or automation.
• Translate operations into clear problem statements, requirements, and measurable KPIs.
• Comfort with experimenting with AI tooling (LLMs, agents, automation platforms) and understanding controls, human-in-the-loop, and auditability.
• Clear communication with operational and technical stakeholders and influence without formal authority.
• Experience in a payment services provider or a bank is a plus.
• Knowledge of the payments/banking industry is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead discovery to identify operation pain points, inefficiencies, and risks, focusing on AI opportunities.
• Design, test, and scale AI agents and automation experiments to enhance efficiency while minimizing risk.
• Champion responsible AI adoption with human-in-the-loop, controls, and guardrails.
• Translate insights into actionable requirements for processes, tools, and AI agents.
• Contribute to the definition of the AI roadmap.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of improvements, balancing quick wins with investments.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for quality, satisfaction, risk, adoption, performance, and impact.
• Mentor supervisors on process efficiencies and AI tooling.
