Swan, Europe’s embedded banking specialist, is seeking a Payment Operations Efficiency & AI Automation professional in Paris. The role focuses on driving AI-powered improvements across payment operations, reducing manual work, and partnering with Product, Compliance, and Data teams to design scalable solutions.

You will lead discovery, build and test AI agents, and ensure responsible AI adoption within a regulated environment, while mentoring teams and delivering measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience driving operational excellence, process redesign, or automation initiatives in ops/risk/compliance/product-ops (payments/fintech preferred).
• Ability to translate operations into clear problem statements, requirements, and measurable KPIs; end-to-end rollout experience.
• Comfort with experimenting with AI tooling (LLMs, agents, automation platforms) and a strong emphasis on controls and auditability.

Responsabilités

• Lead discovery to identify Payment Operations pain points, inefficiencies, and risks, especially where AI can reduce manual work.
• Design, test, and scale AI agents and automation experiments to enhance efficiency while minimizing risk.
• Champion responsible AI adoption with human-in-the-loop, controls, and guardrails in a regulated payments environment.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of improvements, from AI deployment to process redesign, balancing quick wins with foundational investments.
