In this role, you will oversee daily registration and switchboard operations, coordinate staffing and department workflows, ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements, and support staff development and performance.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Previous experience working with public required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Must be able to take initiative and responsibility for actions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills are beneficial but not required.
• Able to assist with flexible hours in staffing department needs.
• Visual and hearing acuity pertinent to communication with patients, visitors and staff.
• Displays a positive attitude. Handles conflict situations effectively.
• Able to perform assigned duties as a team and independently without direct supervision.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Able to operate a personal computer including keyboard proficiency. Familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
