Houlihan Lokey's Technology Team in Paris seeks a Senior Associate/VP to support and lead Technology M&A transactions, requiring execution excellence and client interaction in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years in investment banking or corporate finance, end-to-end deal experience, advanced LBO/DCF modelling, fluency in English and French, and a track record mentoring juniors while managing multiple assignments.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience within an M&A, generalist, or Industry team.
• Experience and strong insight in the Technology sector with end-to-end sell-side mandates (closed deal experience).
• A strong academic track record, having achieved a 2:1 or equivalent degree.
• Advanced financial modelling (LBO and DCF) and analytical abilities; strong knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior team members.
• Proven ability to handle multiple assignments and execute end-to-end deals.
• Strategic mindset with ability to propose best solutions for clients.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
• Fluency in English and French is essential.
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, creativity, and ability to work with all levels in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Support/lead the execution of Technology M&A transactions; coordinate and perform due diligence from mandate to close.
• Create, develop, and review complex financial models (including database systems, LBO, and DCF); analyze and present financial information and valuation.
• Act as a key client contact on transactions, lead meetings, and contribute to pitches and strategic presentations.
• Build relationships with clients, advisors, and stakeholders; lead marketing engagements and client development efforts.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, guiding financial analyses and deal execution.
