Paris Private Equity Associate – Full Lifecycle Investing

Job summary

PeakSeek, a Paris-based mid-market private equity firm, is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to join its investment team. The role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working directly with senior investment professionals on new transactions and portfolio companies.

You will assess opportunities from initial screening through execution, build and review LBO models, conduct due diligence, and help develop investment theses for Investment Committee.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A or transaction advisory.
• Direct private equity experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong LBO modelling, valuation and financial analysis capabilities.
• Hands-on transaction execution and due diligence experience.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to assess investment opportunities beyond the financial model.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Strong academic background from a leading university or business school.

Responsibilities

• Assess new investment opportunities from initial screening through execution.
• Build and review LBO models, valuations, return analyses and downside scenarios.
• Conduct financial, commercial and market due diligence.
• Develop investment theses and prepare materials for Investment Committee.
• Coordinate transaction execution with management teams, advisers, lenders and other counterparties.
• Support portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, performance monitoring and value creation.
• Contribute to deal sourcing, sector research and origination activities.
• Take increasing ownership of transactions as experience develops.
