Job summary

PER is seeking an associate to evaluate and execute investment opportunities, working closely with senior team members across the full transaction lifecycle. The role offers exposure to deal execution, direct engagement with business owners and senior stakeholders, and the chance to develop within an entrepreneurial, internationally minded team.

The successful candidate will contribute to financial modelling, due diligence, and preparation of investment materials, while supporting portfolio

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in M&A, investment banking or private equity
• Strong financial modelling skills and a solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to own workstreams and manage competing priorities
• Strong commercial judgement, intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new sectors
• Collaborative approach and ability to thrive in a flat, international team environment

Responsibilities

• Supporting the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, from initial analysis through to closing
• Building financial models and conducting valuation, business and investment return analysis
• Coordinating due diligence workstreams and liaising with external advisors throughout live transactions
• Preparing investment committee materials, financial analysis and transaction documentation
• Conducting company, sector and market research to support investment decisions and direct origination
• Supporting portfolio monitoring and analysing the performance of existing investments
• Working closely with senior investment professionals and contributing to a collaborative, hands-on team environment
