Haitong Bank, S.A. in Paris seeks motivated interns for either M&A or Corporate & Project Financing tracks. You will gain strong client exposure, participate in mandates, and assist in market analysis, due diligence, and documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in finance or related fields, with fluency in English and French (and Chinese for M&A). The role demands rigorous analysis, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, management, economics, or financial engineering.
• Fluency in English and French is required for the Corporate and Project Finance Trainee; Chinese is mandatory for the M&A Trainee.
• Previous experience in deal-oriented environments such as investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity or transaction services is preferred.
• Strong writing and organizational skills; detail oriented and proactive.

Responsabilités

• Assist in execution of mandates (buy-side and sell-side); prepare information memorandums, presentations, financial analysis, financial modelling, valuations, and manage data room.
• Conduct market, strategic and competitive analysis and industry screening for targets/buyers; support deal sourcing.
• Identify potential clients and prospects in French, Benelux, and other European markets; ensure effective communication with internal and external counterparties.
• Prepare credit applications including company presentations, financial/industry analysis, and peer comparison; participate in transactions and advisory processes.
• Write detailed information memorandums; assist in executing new corporate and project financing deals.
