Job summary

Dashlane is seeking an experienced Lead Accountant to own the French entity’s financial operations in Paris. You will report to the US-based VP, Global Controller, and oversee local statutory compliance and global reporting.

Based in Paris with a hybrid work model, you will manage General Ledger, Month-End Close, VAT, CIR, and the French audit while collaborating with teams in the US and Portugal. You will champion AI-assisted accounting tools and mentor the Staff Accountant.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 7+ years of accounting and tax experience.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of French Statutory Accounting and US GAAP.
• ASC 606 Revenue Recognition knowledge, especially for subscription/multi-channel models.
• Experience with Pennylane and NetSuite or similar ERP.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own the full month-end close for the French entity in collaboration with the global accounting team.
• Lead the annual French Statutory Audit, manage tax/VAT filings, and CIR preparation with Engineering.
• Coordinate with Global Controller on the US GAAP audit, internal controls, and international projects.
• Manage US GAAP ASC 606 revenue recognition, support payment automation, and oversee invoicing/AR.
