Planet Paymet is seeking a Senior Accountant for France to own local accounting, regulatory reporting and financial close. You will ensure compliance with French GAAP and ACPR, while supporting the broader finance function across Planet’s global operations.

You will manage month-end close, balance sheet controls and statutory reporting, partnering withTax, Treasury, Legal and external auditors to drive accurate financial results and improvements in processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or equivalent French accounting qualification or experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of French GAAP and statutory accounting requirements.
• Hands-on ownership of ACPR regulatory reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, balance sheet control and financial reporting.
• Experience with regulated entities or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of French VAT and local tax reporting requirements.
• Experience working with auditors, tax advisers and other external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Own the accounting and month-end close for Planet's French entities with accurate, timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with French GAAP, statutory requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Lead ACPR regulatory reporting processes with accurate submissions and timelines.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements, schedules and audit support.
• Maintain strong balance sheet controls, reconciliations and documentation.
• Analyze financial results and provide commentary on movements, variances and risks.
• Align statutory, regulatory and Group reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, FP&A and external auditors.
