Jobtailor in Paris is seeking a senior leader to supervise and optimize construction cost estimates for renovations. You will challenge measurements, safeguard margins, and guide a team of quantity surveyors while aligning pricing with the Paris market.

You will expand pricing databases, coordinate sales, technical, and project teams, and drive efficiency across estimating tools and processes to support timely project launches.

Qualifications

• At least 6–10 years of experience in construction, cost estimating, or renovation.
• Experience as a Construction Manager, Cost Estimating Manager, Project Manager, or Business Manager
• Excellent command of construction costs and market pricing practices in Paris
• Ability to provide technical challenge to experienced teams
• Proven experience managing and coordinating teams
• Ability to structure, optimize, and grow an organization
• Seeking a dynamic, fast-growing environment

Responsabilités

• Supervise and approve all estimates prepared by the quantity surveyors
• Review and challenge measurements, direct costs, markups, and budget assumptions
• Ensure pricing is aligned with the realities of the Paris renovation market
• Protect project margins before bids are submitted
• Expand and improve the accuracy of the pricing database
• Manage and support a team of quantity surveyors
• Prioritize requests and organize incoming workflows
• Facilitate communication between the sales, technical, and project teams
• Implement methods to improve efficiency and reliability
• Ensure the handover of project files to the construction teams
• Support projects through to their operational launch
• Continuously improve estimating tools, processes, and methods
• Act as a key point of contact between the company’s departments
