Currie & Brown in Paris is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to drive full pre- and post-contract cost management across a diverse pipeline in hospitality, logistics, and residential sectors.

Based in Paris, you will deliver cost management from feasibility to final account, collaborating with clients, design teams, and contractors. MRICS is a plus, and you should be willing to lead commissions as our France practice grows.

Qualifications

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven cost management experience, ideally from a consultancy.
• Exposure to hospitality, logistics, or residential sectors.
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Deliver cost management from feasibility through final account.
• Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities, tender docs, and cost reports.
• Manage procurement, tender analysis, and contract administration.
• Handle valuations, change control, and cost reporting across the lifecycle.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Guide and mentor junior colleagues as the team grows.

Our French practice is growing, and we want a talented Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager for our Paris team. You'll work across a diverse portfolio spanning the hospitality, logistics, and residential sectors.

The opportunity

Based in Paris, you'll deliver full pre- and post-contract cost management on a varied pipeline. Your projects will range from high-end hotels and mixed-use residential schemes to large-scale logistics facilities. You'll work directly with clients, design teams, and contractors. You'll own your commissions, and you'll play a visible role as our business in France grows.

What you'll do

• Deliver cost management from feasibility and estimating through to final account
• Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities, tender documentation, and cost reports
• Manage procurement, tender analysis, and contract administration
• Handle valuations, change control, and cost reporting across the project lifecycle
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser
• Guide and mentor junior colleagues as the team grows

What you'll bring

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related discipline
• Proven cost management experience, ideally from a consultancy
• Exposure to one or more of hospitality, logistics, or residential
• Sound knowledge of French construction contracts and cost practices
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
• MRICS, or progress towards chartership, is a plus
• A client-focused approach and readiness to run your own commissions
