Jobtailor in Paris is seeking a cost engineer/quantity analyst to analyze engineering drawings, 3D models, and BOQs, ensuring quantities align with contractual budgets.

You will compare reference sold quantities, investigate overruns, and liaise with engineering disciplines to identify root causes, to prepare monthly quantity and cost reports and support tendering for construction packages. Fluent English and willingness to travel within Île-de-France are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an engineering school.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel within the Île-de-France region.

Responsabilités

• Analyze engineering drawings, 3D models, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Compare engineering quantities with reference “sold” quantities to stay within contractual budgets.
• Investigate and analyze quantity overruns.
• Liaise with engineering disciplines to identify root causes of variances.
• Prepare and distribute monthly quantity and cost reports.
• Support the subcontracting team in preparing tenders for construction and works packages.
• Review and verify material quantities and values defined during the tendering process.
• Conduct comparative analyses using historical data from previous projects.
