Job summary

DNV, based in Paris, France, seeks a verification professional to support delivering verification and technical assurance services for Oil & Gas projects across the energy sector. You will contribute to project delivery, coordinate engineering activities, and work directly with clients and key project stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, manage verification initiatives, and collaborate with experts across regions to ensure high-quality assurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant Oil & Gas experience with project management exposure.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems in Oil & Gas facilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in multidisciplinary, international teams.
• Professional fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally according to project needs.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients and support business development activities, including proposal preparation and project scoping.
• Manage verification projects from planning and coordination through to delivery, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
• Coordinate engineering activities across clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to support effective project execution.
• Perform independent verification and technical reviews of mechanical engineering deliverables in line with industry codes, standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with DNV experts across disciplines and regions to deliver high-quality assurance services.
• Further develop your technical expertise and contribute to knowledge sharing within the Verification Team.
