DNV in Saint-Nazaire, France, invites a motivated student to gain hands-on experience in an international maritime and technical environment while supporting our Business Support team in France. You will aid the French surveyor network and assist colleagues across France in their interactions with customers and international teams.

You will help coordinate service requests, plan inspections, support contracts and invoicing, and contribute to office management, while learning how certification,

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme.
• Fluent business English and French.
• Knowledge of, or interest in, maritime classification and the maritime industry is an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with shared document management and customer databases.

About The Role

Area Benelux & France is part of Maritime Region West Europe. Our teams deliver certification, classification and verification services from Antwerp, Le Havre, Marseille, Montoir and Rotterdam.We are looking for a motivated student who would like to gain hands-on experience in an international maritime and technical environment while supporting our Business Support team in France. You will support the French surveyor network and help colleagues across France in their interactions with customers and international teams.

Main tasks

• Receive and coordinate customer service requests with technical teams, Surveyors, Team Leads and international approval centres
• Plan inspection activities and support on-time delivery
• Support contract management with surveyors and production managers
• Prepare and issue invoices
• Follow up work in progress and long-term activity planning
• Support Finance with accounts receivable
• Contribute to office management

Position qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme
• Fluent business English and French
• Knowledge of, or interest in, maritime classification and the maritime industry is an advantage
