Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and offshore experience required.
• 5–12 years in offshore energy with pipeline installation.
• Experience as Project Engineer or Installation Methods Engineer.
• Knowledge of Reel-Lay, S-Lay and J-Lay methods.
• Ability to lead engineers and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pipeline installation engineering activities and support a team of methods engineers throughout project delivery.
• Act as technical reference for pipeline installation and manage interfaces with clients, vessel teams and subcontractors.
• Prepare installation method statements, procedures and engineering documentation.
• Perform installation rigging calculations and develop rigging designs.
• Support procurement activities, assist subcontractor selection and follow up scopes.
• Follow procurement, fabrication and testing of installation aids.
• Support tendering through feasibility studies, methodologies, man-hour estimates, schedules and costing.
• Contribute to HSEQ and deliver technical presentations.
• Provide regular reporting on progress and resource needs.
• Support offshore execution with engineering scope aboard installation vessels.
