EarthStream Global seeks a Project Director to lead a large Data Center construction project in Paris. You will drive delivery from contract award through handover, coordinating design, BIM, construction, testing and commissioning with a wide multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in major building projects, deep MEP/CET expertise, and strong client/stakeholder management. French and English fluency and a structured, proactive approach are essential for success.

Responsabilités

• Overall project leadership and delivery against programme, budget, quality and contractual requirements.
• Lead client relationships with Client Representatives, AMO, Project Managers, MOE and consultants.
• Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan (PMP) and project control processes.
• Manage project risks, commercial exposure, variations and change orders.
• Lead design, BIM, construction, testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate multiple technical and construction disciplines across a major TCE project.
• Lead project governance and monthly management committees.
• Ensure rigorous HSE, environmental and quality standards are maintained.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across the project lifecycle.

Project Director – Data Center Construction – Site based - Paris

We are supporting a major international construction and engineering group in the appointment of a Project Director to lead the delivery of a major, technically complex, turnkey Data Centre project in the Paris / Île-de-France region.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in large-scale TCE projects and MEP/technical building services, looking to take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a major Data Centre development.

You will have overall responsibility for TCE delivery and lead a sizeable multidisciplinary project team, overseeing the project from contract award and design development through construction, testing, commissioning and final handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overall project leadership and delivery against programme, budget, quality and contractual requirements
• Leading client relationships, including Client Representatives, AMO, Project Managers, MOE and consultants
• Developing and maintaining the Project Management Plan (PMP) and project control processes
• Managing project risks, commercial exposure, variations and change orders
• Leading design, BIM, construction, testing and commissioning activities

Ideal skills and experience:

• 15+ years' professional experience delivering large-scale building projects
• Strong knowledge of MEP / CET technical packages, particularly within complex buildings
• Experience leading major multidisciplinary teams and coordinating multiple construction disciplines
• Strong technical understanding across areas such as structural, architectural, electrical and/or HVAC
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication ability, with strong level in both French and English
• A structured, proactive approach centred around anticipation, organisation and control
• Experience working within joint ventures, consortia or complex project structures is highly advantageous
