Job summary

SMOORE is seeking a commercially driven Retail Manager based in Paris to grow its retail presence across France. The role blends hands-on business development with channel expansion and field sales coordination.

Ideal candidates have retail or FMCG experience, fluent French and strong English, and a valid driving license. A personal vehicle is preferred; travel is reimbursed according to policy as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, field sales, business development, or channel sales.
• Fluent in French and working proficiency in English.
• Legally authorized to work in France; driving license required.
• Experience in vaping, tobacco, FMCG, or distribution; travel may be required. Vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retail channel development: identify and acquire new retail partners across France.
• Field team management: coordinate activities, set KPIs and monitor performance.
• In-store execution: drive product listings, merchandising and staff training.
• Account management: build relationships with retailers and distributors, grow existing accounts.
• Sales performance: monitor stock, replenishment and sell-through to hit targets.
• Market intelligence: gather feedback, competitor insights and market trends.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with internal teams and distributors to ensure compliant execution.
