Altea Energy is seeking a FPSO Technical Safety Engineer to support the Technical Safety Lead across detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning of a major FPSO project in France. The role requires extensive safety engineering expertise, knowledge of international codes, and coordination with EPC contractors to ensure ALARP risk reduction and compliance with project standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 8 years in Technical Safety / HSE Design.
• FPSO project experience mandatory.
• Strong experience during detailed engineering and EPC execution phases.
• Experience working with international engineering contractors.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate Safety Engineering scope with Technical Safety Lead.
• Review deliverables during detailed design phase.
• Ensure compliance with Company Specifications, SOR, and international codes & standards.
• Coordinate safety studies (HAZID/HAZOP, TRA) and risk assessments.
• Integrate safety into FPSO design and manage interfaces across disciplines.
• Support contractor management and progress reporting.
• Promote ALARP and implement safety recommendations.
• Report progress and drive continuous improvement.
