Job summary

Airswift is recruiting for an FPSO Technical Safety Services assignment to support a major deep offshore development project. The role focuses on safety engineering through detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases, with exposure to international project execution in Paris, Singapore and Geoje.

The position offers challenging offshore safety work, cross-discipline collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to ALARP risk reduction in a multi-location environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on FPSO projects.
• Strong background in Technical Safety Engineering for offshore oil and gas.
• Experience supporting detailed design activities.
• Experience across procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Exposure to large offshore projects with stringent safety requirements.
• 10+ years, incl. 8+ years in Safety/HSE design for oil & gas.

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise technical safety deliverables during the detailed design phase.
• Ensure safety deliverables comply with project specs and international standards.
• Monitor safety scope on schedule, budget, and project objectives.
• Coordinate contractor deliverables, provide technical comments, and close-out actions.
• Lead TRA studies with third-party consultants to ALARP levels.
• Interface with Process, Structures, HVAC, Hull, and SURF to optimize safety.
• Participate in technical meetings, reviews, and safety workshops.
• Support HAZID/HAZOP and other safety-focused reviews.
• Monitor close-out of safety actions from audits and risk assessments.
• Report progress to FPSO Safety Lead and Engineering Management.
