Altea Energy in Paris, France, seeks a Materials, Welding & NDE Engineer for the UFR package. The role covers engineering, procurement, fabrication, pre-commissioning and handover to operations on a major offshore project, with a residential assignment and regular site visits.

Lead all Materials, Welding and NDE activities, ensure technical consistency across design, qualification, and construction, and maintain compliance with company specs and international codes.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering and execution phases of major offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong experience with UFR (Umbilicals, Flowlines & Risers) systems, Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering, NDE, fabrication and construction.
• Experience working with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience on major offshore development projects is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead all Materials, Welding, and NDE engineering activities for the UFR package.
• Ensure technical consistency throughout design, qualification, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with Company specifications, international standards, and industry best practices.
• Identify, develop, and manage qualification programs related to materials, welding technologies, and NDE methodologies.
• Coordinate engineering studies related to Materials, Welding, NDE, QA/QC, and Risk Analysis.
• Review and validate contractor engineering documentation, technical queries, and deviation requests.
• Supervise detailed design activities related to Materials, Welding, and NDE.
• Support qualification of new or non-standard materials, welding processes, and inspection technologies.
