Databricks is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer in Paris to partner with customers on data & AI challenges using the Databricks platform.

You will own architectural decisions, design end-to-end solutions, and deliver production-grade data pipelines and ML/AI integrations with strong customer empathy. You will work across data engineering, AI, and application development to drive strategic delivery, guide customers through architecture, and ensure scalable deployments while contributing

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms or software engineering.
• Comfortable writing code in Python/Scala/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of two or more Cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark and Spark internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Working knowledge of MLOps and ML/AI models.

• Lead production solution delivery with reference architectures and data ingestion.
• Guide transformational big data projects from design to deployment.
• Bootstrap and implement customer projects with Databricks best practices.
• Own architecture decisions ensuring security and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to meet needs.
• Provide feedback to product teams and support rapid issue resolution.
• Embed with customer teams across technical ICs to executives.
